Traditional Rose Loukoum: The Best Recipe
Discover this traditional rose-flavored loukoum recipe. These Turkish confections are enjoyed for dessert and are very easy to make.

Place 1 dl of water in a bowl to soak the gelatin. In a saucepan, heat 2 dl of water with the sugar until it reaches 115°C. Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour in the contents of the bowl. Stir, add the coloring, and return to the heat until it reaches 107°C. Cool the contents of the saucepan by placing it in cold water, then add the rose water and mix. -

Line an 18 cm² mold with parchment paper and pour in the cooled syrup. Place the mold in the refrigerator.

To finish
After 24 hours, sift the icing sugar and cornstarch onto your work surface. Invert the mold to release its contents onto the sugar-cornstarch mixture. Remove the paper and cut the preparation into squares. Roll them in the mixture and arrange the loukoum on a serving dish.
