Place the egg whites in a large bowl and add the salt. -

Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gradually add the sugar until you achieve a glossy, ribbon-like meringue. -

Preheat the oven to 110°C (230°F). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. -
Baking
Fill a piping bag with the meringue mixture and pipe out mounds of varying sizes as desired. Bake for 2 hours. Once baked, allow to cool. Gently lift off the parchment once cooled. Arrange on a platter and dust with powdered sugar.
