Light Panna Cotta Recipe
This is a lighter version of the famous panna cotta. This creamy dessert, with a very gentle flavor, can be enjoyed plain or paired with a strawberry or raspberry coulis. Perfect for those who are mindful of their waistline, this easy recipe allows you to indulge in a creamy and aromatic dessert with fewer calories than the traditional version thanks to the use of light cream and semi-skimmed milk.

Light cream (3% fat) 40 cl
-
Semi-skimmed milk 10 cl
-
Sugar (or sweetener) 2 tbsp
-
Vanilla 1 pod
-
Gelatin 3 sheets
Preparation Steps
- 1
Soak the gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes. In a saucepan, mix the cream, milk, and sugar. Add the split vanilla pod and scrape the seeds. Heat gently without bringing it to a boil. - 2
Squeeze out the gelatin. Remove the vanilla pod from the cream mixture and carefully pour the hot mixture over the gelatin, stirring well to dissolve. - 3
Distribute the mixture into 4 ramekins or glasses. Allow them to cool, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- To finish
If using ramekins, unmold them onto dessert plates by running hot water around the outside. Garnish with fruits or coulis.
